You will be an excellent fit for this position if you have:

Essential skills:

Highly proficient in 5 of the following criteria:

• Extensive experience with Umbraco and Umbraco Development
• Extensive Commercial Experience with C# and http://ASP.NET
• Experience with a cloud-based environment
• Experience with SQL
• Experience with Javascript
• Commercial experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience with unit testing and TDD principals
• Thorough knowledge of OOP, coding fundamentals, and design patterns
• Strong communication skills

Desirable skills:

• React, Typescript, Next.JS
• Terraform
• CI/CD Experience (Azure DevOps or other).
• Relevant Certification or degree.

Here are some of the things you’ll be working on:

The Senior Software Developer works as part of a self-organising Agile/Kanban team responsible for building websites, APIs and frameworks that power a portfolio of websites. The Senior Software Developer works within the team using a variety of web technologies (mostly backend), on highly visible website projects, to deliver a cutting-edge gaming experience to our users.

The position will involve the following areas of responsibility:

• Coding and developing features for new and existing products particularly with regards to Umbraco specialty
• Upkeep and maintenance of existing products
• Knowledge sharing/documentation – knowledge of best practices
• Taking part in team rituals such as stand-ups, planning sessions, demos, and retrospectives
• Taking part in team activities such as collaborative development and code reviews
• Taking part in cross-team activities such as knowledge-sharing and documentation
