What is the project, and why should you care?

Our customer is an IT consulting company specializing in providing tailored technology solutions for casino, sportsbook, and other gambling platforms. They offer services related to software development, system integration, and support, helping clients in the online gaming industry enhance their operations and user experiences.

You will be an excellent fit for this position if you have:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS
  • 2+ years of experience with Terraform
  • 2+ years of experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines, TeamCity CI)
  • 2+ years of experience deploying and managing container-based applications using Kubernetes (EKS experience is a must)
  • 2+ years of experience configuring monitoring and logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
  • 2+ years of experience working with RDS (MS SQL, Postgres)
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, VPN) and related AWS Services (CloudFront, API Gateway, VPC, Route 53, ELB)
  • Problem-solving skills for use-case-specific architecture design and implementation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • AWS Certification is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal

Here are some of the things you’ll be working on:

  • Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of AWS-based infrastructure using Terraform and IAC best practices
  • Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment workflows
  • Manage and support Kubernetes-based container orchestration using EKS
  • Monitor and maintain system health using observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to implement infrastructure improvements and adopt best DevOps practices
  • Participate in root cause analysis and incident resolution processes
  • Contribute to regular code and infrastructure reviews, gradually taking ownership of components
  • Maintain and optimize cloud-hosted databases such as MS SQL and PostgreSQL
