Middle DevOps Engineer Symphony Anywhere / Ukraine What is the project, and why should you care? We are looking for a talented and motivated Middle DevOps Engineer to join our project. The client is a cloud-based development company and an Amazon Web Services Advanced Tier Partner. Client provides end-to-end services, they deliver every part of the solution from the data layer through the web and mobile apps to the DevOps and hosting area. You will be an excellent fit for this position if you have: 2+ years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS 1+ years of experience in at least one Infrastructure as a Code technology like Terraform (preferred), AWS CloudFormation, Ansible, AWS CDK, or similar 1+ years of experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Bitbucket or similar) 1+ years of experience in creating and running container-based applications using Docker (Kubernetes/EKS knowledge is a plus) Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, VPN) and related AWS Services (CloudFront, API Gateway, VPC, Route 53, ELB) Strong understanding of security concepts (IAM, PoLP, Access Control, Endpoint Security, Data Encryption) In-depth knowledge of standard AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS Excellent problem-solving skills for use-case-specific architecture design and implementation Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment AWS Associate/Professional/Specialty Certification is a plus Good communication skills in English, written and verbal – B2+ (preferable C1) Here are some of the things you’ll be working on: Provide DevOps support for various projects Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient deployments and high system reliability Worked on AWS cloud infrastructure, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools Collaborate with client technical teams to implement infrastructure-as-code, improve system scalability, and optimize performance Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, networking, and application performance Continuously seek to improve processes and implement best practices in DevOps across projects
