This is an exciting opportunity to work across various projects and domains. As part of our team, you will provide DevOps services across a range of projects, not tied to just one. The dynamic nature of this role means you will need to adapt to different environments, technologies, and business needs. You will be an excellent fit for this position if you have: 2+ years in DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering roles Strong Kubernetes expertise: workloads, networking, ingress, RBAC, PodSecurity, operators Experience with GCP core services: GKE, GCS, VPC, IAM, Cloud DNS, Artifact Registry Basic understanding of AWS core services (EKS, S3, IAM, VPC, API GW, RDS, Lambdas) Proficiency in containerization: Docker, multi-stage builds, registry authentication CI/CD expertise: building pipelines in Bitbucket, Jenkins, or GitLab Linux and networking fundamentals: DNS, routing, TLS, troubleshooting Monitoring and alerting: Prometheus Stack, Loki, Grafana, Alertmanager Troubleshooting skills: debugging workloads, networking, and resource constraints Nice to Have: GitOps workflows: FluxCD or ArgoCD Helm chart development and templating Vault (HashiCorp): secrets management, policy design, and auto-unseal setup Hands-on IaC experience: Terraform modules, Pulumi projects Experience operating Kubernetes operators: PostgreSQL (CloudNativePG), Couchbase, Kafka Strimzi, MongoDB (Percona Operator) Zero-downtime deployment strategies: blue/green, canary, rolling Service mesh experience: Istio or Linkerd Experience with Cloudflare: DNS, WAF, SSL/TLS configuration Knowledge of database internals: PostgreSQL, Couchbase, Kafka architecture, MongoDB replication Backup/restore automation and lifecycle management Multi-cloud experience (GCP + AWS) Soft Skills Strong communication and documentation skills Ownership-driven, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset Able to collaborate effectively in distributed teams Continuous improvement and an automation mindset Here are some of the things you’ll be working on: Design, build, and operate Kubernetes-based workloads on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins) Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, Pulumi Operate and support Kubernetes operators (PostgreSQL — CloudNativePG, Couchbase Operator, Kafka Strimzi, MongoDB Percona Operator) Maintain observability stack — logging, monitoring, and alerting (Prometheus, Loki, Grafana, Alertmanager) Automate infrastructure and operational workflows using Python or Bash Support development teams with deployments, environment troubleshooting, and optimization Collaborate on architecture decisions to improve scalability, performance, and cost efficiency Manage data backup and restore strategies (PostgreSQL, Couchbase, MinIO, MongoDB)
