QA Engineer – Automation & Manual

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer – Automation & Manual to join our team working on Vivino. As the world’s largest online wine marketplace and most downloaded wine app, the Vivino community is made up of millions of wine drinkers from around the world, coming together to make buying the right wine simple, straightforward, and fun. Vivino uses crowd-sourced data to personalize wine recommendations so that every community member feels confident about their wine choices. Created for everyone who likes wine—from the wine curious to the wine enthusiast—the Vivino app is available for free on both Apple and Android devices.

In this role, you will be part of the Vivino QA team. You will ensure the quality of Vivino’s software products and think from the user/PO perspective to provide valuable input to improve the product quality. As part of the QA – Automation & Manual Test Engineering team, you will support them in designing, implementing, and maintaining test solutions for iOS/Android/Web applications and backend. You will also help the team find the right balance between test automation and manual testing as the team continues to grow. This role is focused on both the development and operational aspects of QA, with a balanced emphasis on test design and development, test execution and reporting, automation framework & test suite maintenance, and collaborative continuous improvement.

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a similar field
• 3 years of relevant experience in Automation & Manual Testing. Test design, test data preparation, and execution
• Experience in Mobile, Web Application, API, and DB Testing
• Hands-on experience in using licensed/open-source Test Automation Tools like Appium, Selenium, or Katalon Studio
• Experience with Ruby
• Experience working in DevOps environment, Agile, and Scrum Teams
• Experience in RCA, IA, Test Results analysis, and Defect Tracking
• Hands-on experience in developing SQL scripts for database testing
• Automation experience on commercial projects is a huge plus

Here are some of the things you’ll be working on:

• Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing
• Generate and analyze test reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
• Collaborate with the development team to understand the requirements and design test scenarios accordingly
• Update and maintain test documentation to reflect new features and enhancements
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains unaffected by new changes
