You will be an excellent fit for this position if you have:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related career

Work Experience
Indispensable:

  • 5+ years of software engineering activities in work teams under Scrum or Kanban methodologies developing projects of at least six months
  • Experience with Azure backend functions

Skills and Abilities
Indispensable:

  • Fluent in English
  • Good understanding of Software Development
  • Strong .Net/C#
  • SQL knowledge
  • Cloud experience (Azure preferably)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and infrastructure as a coding background (Terraform)
  • Understanding Microservice Architecture
  • Software development and testing lifecycle knowledge
  • Business Intelligence Background
  • Experience in Back-end Development

Desirable Skills

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Proactive mindset, especially toward continuous improvement
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Data Engineering experience, experience with Big Data
  • Experience with such Azure Services: Azure Functions, EventHub, Databricks

 Work Condition

  • Availability to work within the UK time zone

Here are some of the things you’ll be working on:

You would be responsible for:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data infrastructure, leveraging a range of data technologies (including but not limited to those in Azure) and adhering to quality standards, DevOps principles, and agile methodologies
  • Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability through automated testing, monitoring, and proactive issue resolution

You will have:

  • High proficiency in using SQL Server in a highly transactional environment
  • Excellent practical experience in C# for data engineering or development tasks
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure management
  • Experience developing production systems on Azure, including services such as Databricks, Event Hubs, and Function Apps
