What is the project, and why should you care?

Our customer is an IT consulting company specializing in providing tailored technology solutions for casino, sportsbook, and other gambling platforms. They offer services related to software development, system integration, and support, helping clients in the online gaming industry enhance their operations and user experiences.

You will be an excellent fit for this position if you have:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure using AWS (experience with other Clouds is a plus)
  • 3+ years of experience with Terraform
  • 3+ years of experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines, TeamCity CI, Octopus Deploy is a nice to have)
  • 3+ years of experience deploying and managing container-based applications using Kubernetes (EKS experience is a must)
  • 3+ years of experience configuring monitoring and logging tools: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack
  • 3+ years of experience working with RDS (MS SQL, Postgres)
  • Experience with Kafka
  • Programming skills (.NET preferred)
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, VPN) and related AWS Services (CloudFront, API Gateway, VPC, Route 53, ELB)
  • Problem-solving skills for use-case-specific architecture design and implementation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • AWS Certification is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal

Here are some of the things you’ll be working on:

  • Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines, ensuring efficient deployments and high system reliability
  • Work on AWS cloud infrastructure, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, networking, and application performance
  • Continuously seek to improve processes and implement best practices in DevOps across projects
  • Act as a technical leader within the DevOps team, supporting mid-level engineers
  • Collaborate with client’s technical team to implement infrastructure-as-code, improve system scalability, and optimize performance
