Senior Software-Architect / AWS Solution Architect

You will be an excellent fit for this position if you have:

• A degree in computer science or comparable training
• Several years of professional experience in software architecture, IT solution design, and software development
• Good and structured communication skills, agile working, and a strong customer orientation
• Experience as a consultant for external projects is an advantage
• Certification as AWS Solutions Architect (Associate / Professional) desirable
• Deep knowledge and several years of experience in
• AWS serverless concepts and services
• Several years of experience in dealing with AWS API gateways, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and KMS, among others
• Very good programming skills in Java, Go, and/or angular
• Knowledge of Terraform and Jenkins
• Experience in backend software design
• Willingness to familiarise yourself with frontend software design
• Documentation in Arch42 desirable
• Experience in requirements analysis
• Business fluent in German (min B2) and English

Here are some of the things you’ll be working on:

• Understand customer requirements, and technically refine product specifications to design and propose efficient technical solutions
• You will lead technically demanding feasibility studies (proof of concept)
• You work closely with the product owner and advise them on technologies and architectures
• You are the technical expert at the highest level in the team and the first point of contact for the developers
• You are responsible for the modular software designs that the team implements in robust software
• Advice on the design (architecture) and construction of cloud infrastructure components
• Supporting the developers in the design, construction, and operation
