Tech Solutions Architect What is the project, and why should you care? In this role, you will serve as the Digital Product Solution Architect for Symphony Solutions within our agile organization. You will play a central role in designing solutions tailored to the unique product landscape of airlines and aviation. Your expertise ensures that our architecture aligns with agile principles, supporting the delivery of innovative, adaptable, and high-impact digital solutions for the industry. You will collaborate closely with Solution Architects from other domains and draw support from teams including Symphony Solutions’ Tech Office, Software Engineering, DevOps and Cloud Engineers, Business Analysts, Tech Leads, and fellow Solution Architects. This is a highly collaborative role—support and expertise are always within reach. You will be an excellent fit for this position if you have: Required Technical Skills Minimum 7 years of experience in airlines and aviation portfolios. Strong grasp of architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF). Familiarity with architecture patterns: monolithic, microservices, event-driven, service-oriented. Knowledge of object-oriented programming and design. Understanding relational, key-value, and document databases and their practical use cases. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services. Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Infrastructure as Code. SAFe for Architects Certified (ARCH) required. Required Soft Skills Strong stakeholder relationship-building with proven influence and persuasion skills. Experience with senior stakeholder management and effective compromise. Business partnering across diverse operations to deliver value-added service. Skilled in capturing and documenting business requirements succinctly. Ability to recognize and set priorities, guiding teams toward strategic objectives. Comfortable managing business and IT change to help shape future direction. Performs well under pressure. Partner closely with product owners and stakeholders to align architectural decisions with business objectives, translating requirements into actionable designs that drive value and competitive advantage. Provide technical leadership and oversight across development teams, championing best practices that ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability. Drive transformational change, advocating for new technologies and continuous improvement to enhance agility, innovation, and speed of delivery. Foster collaboration and communication across cross-functional teams, ensuring a shared understanding of priorities and a commitment to iterative development. Deliver expertise in designing solutions for applications that align with business and technical strategies in aviation technology. Minimize customization by integrating world-class applications through robust solution design. Support business teams in interpreting domain capabilities and validating that architectural designs meet both functional and non-functional requirements. Communicate and negotiate with stakeholders to balance usability with enterprise architecture needs. Review functional specifications for alignment, managing deviations throughout the project lifecycle. Proactively partner with business leaders to ensure architecture supports strategic goals, making tangible recommendations for inclusion in business plans. Embed quality review points in projects and manage interdependencies. Oversee system testing, audit implementations, and ensure realization of planned benefits. Build strategic supplier relationships and evaluate significant third-party work, approving deliverables on behalf of Symphony Solutions. Enforce compliance with architectural principles, standards, and roadmaps; resolve or escalate non-compliance as necessary. Manage multiple projects of varying scope and complexity. Operate in product-oriented teams with full ownership and autonomy. Follow Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
