Senior Business Analyst – Aviation & Airlines Portfolio

In this role, you will work as a Tech & Digital Senior Business Analyst at Symphony Solutions within our agile organization. Your primary responsibility will be to advance our presence in the airline and aviation domains by creating innovative digital experiences that empower, connect, and transform. We are leading a significant evolution of the customer experience over the coming years and are seeking a Senior Business Analyst who will play a pivotal role in driving and realizing key elements of that vision across our aviation partners.

Senior Business Analysts are critical enablers of transformation within aviation, guiding value-driven decision making in complex, high-impact opportunity areas. By developing a deep understanding of customer needs, business objectives, operational processes, and enabling technologies, you will break down complex challenges, evaluate solution options, and support strategic prioritization to enable early, efficient, and consistent value delivery.

We expect you to engage deeply in some of our most complex change initiatives—those that deliver measurable value for both customers and business stakeholders. You will join a supportive, collaborative team that works closely with airline and aviation clients to deliver meaningful outcomes that shape the future of air travel.

You will be an excellent fit for this position if you have:

• 5+ years of analytical experience in complex environments and demonstrable breadth of portfolio experience.
• Leverages expertise and a strategic approach to deliver impactful and value-led outcomes. Comprehensive analysis, understanding, and interpretation of data, reporting, and presenting complex information to all audiences succinctly.
• Identify opportunities for leveraging AI technologies by conducting thorough market research and competitor analysis, using insight-driven approaches to assess industry trends and emerging technology adoption patterns.
• Execute gap analyses, impact assessments, and feasibility studies for AI initiatives, evaluating existing process maturity and estimating potential value creation and operational impact based on quantitative and qualitative findings.
• Proactively participate in pre-sales activities, including crafting tailored proposals, developing compelling client presentations, responding to RFPs, and designing impactful demo scenarios that showcase technical feasibility and innovation-focused capabilities.
• Puts a customer lens on all that they do while balancing business needs and demonstrating sound commercial acumen.
• Uses BA skillset to navigate through complex and ambiguous problem and opportunity areas spanning different domains, applications, and/or processes across business and technical disciplines.
• Develops exemplary BA artifacts for new and changes to existing applications/systems/processes to succinctly identify and communicate complex problems.
• Has proven experience working in Agile environments and exercises strong prioritization skills with the goal to deliver value early and in a de-risked manner.
• Thinks independently, confidently makes recommendations, effectively influencing stakeholders and external partners.
• Champions the craft, educating the business of the Business Analysis value proposition.
• Develop and implement detailed project and business plans, providing an integrated view of progress and tracking overall milestone completion.
• Collaborate with technical and operations teams to gather requirements and feedback from key business stakeholders to develop clear and detailed specifications to drive the delivery of measurable process improvement goals.
• Creates acceptance criteria that are clear, concise, and actionable.
• Works with User Experience (UX) analysts to ensure prototypes convey story intent.
• Works with Dev and QA to understand the boundaries of any given story.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and business analysis methodologies.
