Who we are Meet Symphony Solutions Company Culture AI Culture Virtual Communities Awards and Recognition Symphony Academy Responsibility in Action 17-Year History Responsibility in Action Not a campaign. A set of commitments we return to, build on, and keep. For us, social responsibility is not a policy document. It is something you can point to: the National Rehabilitation Center Unbroken in Lviv, which we have supported since its first day in 2022; a global charity movement now in its fourth edition; SHE. community for women in tech, which has been running for eight years; and support for our own mobilized colleagues that has never stopped. These are not campaigns with a start and end date. They are commitments we return to, build on, and keep, because that is how real impact works. Our Impact in Numbers AI is not a tool we picked up along the way. It’s how we think, how we deliver, and how we grow — in every role, every process, every client engagement. Theo Schnitfink • Founder, Symphony Solutions Standing with Ukraine Ukraine is not a cause we adopted. It is where many of our people are from, where our largest delivery center has operated since 2008, and where much of our work happens every day. UNBROKEN and University We were among the first companies to support the UNBROKEN National Rehabilitation Center in Lviv when it was announced in June 2022, and the first IT company to do so. Now in its fifth year, the partnership has grown from the center’s first two bionic prosthetic hands to rehabilitation equipment for hospital wards, 50 monitors and network infrastructure to digitize patient records, and most recently the simultaneous interpretation system that makes UNBROKEN University possible: a space where Ukrainian doctors learn from medical experts across the world without leaving the country. Read the Full Story Donated Full Income to Ukraine In 2022, almost €1 million went back to Ukraine. Theo Schnitfink made a decision from the start: all profits generated in Ukraine would go back to the country. Alongside that, Stand by Ukraine, a foundation created in those same weeks, began raising funds and delivering humanitarian and emergency aid through corporate donations, internal fundraising, and charity auctions. Visit Stand by Ukraine Supporting Mobilized Symphonians When Symphonians were called up to defend Ukraine, we made a decision: no one who serves would navigate that alone. We built a dedicated support structure covering financial assistance, administrative help, and ongoing care for mobilized colleagues and their families. €913,222 has gone to Symphonians in direct financial support; €1.4M in total, including community fundraising, since 2022. That support continues for as long as our colleagues serve. Read the Full Story With an Angel on a Shoulder Foundation The Children’s Mobile Hospice in Lviv is run by With an Angel on a Shoulder Foundation. It brings medical care directly to 103 children with incurable illnesses who cannot travel to a clinic. We first directed Distance for a Difference funds to this program in 2023, then in 2024, then again in 2026. The foundation has been supporting children and families in Lviv since 2017, is ranked among the TOP 100+ most transparent charitable organizations in Ukraine, runs over 100 charity events annually, and is supported by 108 volunteers. Visit the Foundation INSO Lviv Orchestra Symphony Solutions has supported the INSO Lviv orchestra for over a decade, making it one of our longest-running partnerships. The connection is not accidental. Our name is Symphony. Our ethos is to write code like music. Supporting live symphonic music in the city where this company was built is not a detour from who we are, it is an expression of it. Over €1 million raised in support of Ukraine during our first year of war. Our 2022 response: emergency shelter for over 200 people in our offices (including the Doctors Without Borders team), donated all Ukraine-generated profits back to the country, funded the first bionic prostheses at what would become UNBROKEN, launched Dattalion to document war crimes, and backed every drafted Symphonian from day one. That reach shapes what we consider our responsibility. Distance for a Difference Distance for a Difference started as one run. The idea behind it: in a world that makes it easy to stay still, moving together matters – for your own health and for something bigger than yourself. Symphonians, clients, partners, and strangers across 26 countries run, walk, cycle, and swim together, logging kilometers on Strava while collectively raising funds for children who receive medical care at home because they are too ill to travel to a clinic. When people move together, they’re capable of more than they know. Community Eight years ago, Valentyna Synenka, Board Member at Symphony Solutions, created a space for women in tech to grow, lead, and connect. SHE. Community has been running ever since. Events, mentorship, and open conversations create real opportunity rather than performative programming. In 2025, SHE Moves raised €7,000+ for women and families affected by the war. Follow SHE. Community Showing Up in North Macedonia Symphony Solutions has operated in North Macedonia since 2015, and that presence has always carried responsibility beyond business. We support SOS Children’s Village, helping children without parental care access quality education, and Glas Protiv Nasilstvo, which serves women and children affected by domestic violence. When we moved to a virtual office, we donated 38 desks to a local school, personally delivered by a Symphonian from the region. In 2025, SHE. Community held its first Skopje edition. Supporting Education We take seriously our responsibility to the people entering the tech industry and to the communities around us. We have backed startup competitions for vocational school students in Lviv, including #GET-SET, where Theo Schnitfink personally awarded the winning team for their ground drone concept. We sponsor tech conferences across Europe, host university welcome events, collect equipment for schoolchildren, and run tech communities across Ukraine, Poland, and Macedonia.
